Turbulence Training promises fast fat loss for those who have limited schedules and don’t have time to spend endless hours in the gym.  The author promises that you will be losing the fat with only 3 workouts a week.

I must confess before continuing this review that I have been a big advocate of these types of workout routines for several years now. Prior to coming across Turbulence Training I was already using similar workout methods found in Turbulence Training.  With that said I am a little biased, only because I know from first hand experience the amazing results that can come from it.

So what makes it so great?

The creator of Turbulence Training, Craig Ballantyne, is a notable writer for popular fitness magazines such as Men’s Health and Men’s Fitness, and even in Oxygen and Shape magazines. I won’t go into all of the details but Craig has an extensive background in research as well as hands on experience as a strength coach.  This is not your mom and pop weight loss for dummies type program.  The program was clearly put together by a trusted fitness expert.

For all of you cardio lovers out there, this program is not for you.  Turbulence Training uses methods such as interval training to turn up the fat burning furnace.  This isn’t you’re your mind numbingly boring hour long cardio sessions.  These are intense workout routines that will continue to burn calories and fat for many hours afterwards.

What is Turbulence Training?

By using a combination of resistance training and interval training you can boost your metabolism so that your body burns calories and fat between workouts.

Let’s get something clear for all of you cardio lovers out there.  Cardio does not boost your metabolism after exercise. Only strength training and interval training do that – while you work, sleep, and eat – your body will be shedding fat.

By using a unique system of bodyweight exercises, dumbbell exercises, and interval training all of this can be done right at home with minimal equipment. So again, if you are one of those people who loves machines, or cardio equipment, or marathon workouts, then this program is not for you.

This is not a program for someone who wants to cheat their way to weight loss.  The methods taught here will not only help you lose weight but you will do some serious fat burning.  I have been using interval and weight training for several years but I have to say that Craig really put together a great program.  I learned a lot of stuff that actually helped me to shave off time from my workouts.

What do you get?

  • 6 week introductory program
  • 4 week intermediate program
  • 16 week advanced training program
  • Bonus body weight workouts
  • Female specific routines
  • Nutrition ebook by Chris Mohr, Ph.D.
  • MP3 audio from Craig detailing the workouts

Who’s this for?

This is for people who want to burn off the fat.  Maybe you’re stuck in a workout rut or maybe you don’t know where to start.  I guarantee you that not only will you not be bored but you will burn some serious fat with Turbulence Training.  Who this isn’t for is someone looking for the magic bullet.  Sorry it doesn’t exist.

The best part is that Craig is so sure that this will work for you; he even offers an 8-week money back guarantee! So you have nothing to lose, but lots of fat!

This is a great program. If you aren’t averse to working out and burning fat then this is the weight loss program for you. I saw a difference in my body after a couple of weeks. It really does work.

I had a hard time keeping up with the TT routines. But then again I smoke and am lazy. I do about half the things recommended and I’m still losing weight. I imagine if I went all out I would burn off some serious fat.
